Its on Sunday 5th of September between 12-4pm (set up 11-12) a little background about the Dads Day Out / Big Clean Up...  it is a picnic, a fun activity day, a chance to work on cleaning up the stream, an opportunity for fathers adn kids and families to have a free fun day. about 600 came last year, held at Tui Glen in Waitakere. We have a marquee, which we used to house the smaller children's area, and this had some Barnardos and swim ed material and workshops in there,. mostly run by women. there is a good chance to create some activities for younger children here... not just in the marquee, but all through the event... It would be so great to have a group of men involved in ECE to man the area, help encourage dads to get involved in this area of play too. we would love to get some local newspaper publicity aopbut you all being there if you were open to this too..
